PASDEC-Marble City Risalpur 132 KV Grid Station has started functioning

The honorable federal Minister for the Ministry of Industries and Production Syed Murtaza Mahmud Inaugurated the 132 KV grid station for Marble City Risalpur (MCR) at Risalpur on 16th March 2023

Speaking on the occasion Chief Executive Officer , Pakistan Stone Development Company  (PASDEC) Gladly conveyed that PASDEC has achieved milestone  towards industrialization for Marble and Granite sector by energizing 132 KV grid station for its Marble City Risalpur Project and the development of M&G processing cluster has been completed successfully.

The project encompasses a transmission line of 2.9 km and 132 KV grid )including 20×26 MVA transformers , in/out circuit) valuing Rs. 350 Million. It commenced in September 2021 and was completed in March 2023.

The project shall meet the dedicated power requirement for planned 222marble factories and shall encourage the processors for setting up/ upgrade their industrial units . Finished goods of MCR will boost the much needed exports of the sector.

The energizing of the said grid station would result in job creation and socio uplift of the region in much needed economic condition of the country .
